  • I think this place is the best and most valuable place to enjoy the Tottori Sand Dunes. A large parking lot, souvenir shops, restaurants, etc. are waiting for you. You can see the sand dunes from the overlook point, and the parking lot along the national highway below was chaotic with many cars, but this place was not like that. There is also a chair lift that takes you directly from this hill to the desert. The round trip fee is 400 yen (about US$3). I really enjoyed this ride. If you are traveling by car to visit the sand dunes, many people use the parking lot of the souvenir shop along the national highway or the sand dune parking lot near the visitor center, but I recommend using this place.

  • Basic. But good place to have a break. I just had their peach ice cream. The viewing gallery is on 3rd floor

  • Took the chair lift up from the sand dunes . There is a souvenir shop plus an eatery. There is a hidden gem when you can take in an awesome view of the scenery including the sand! . Just head upstairs to the terrace. There is some souvenir made out of the sand from the sand dunes that reminds one of the Oscar winning film, Everything Everywhere All At Once.

  • Meal is fresh and delicious, fast service. Busy during lunch time.

  • Great place to park and enter the dunes! The chairlift is 400yen round trip and so much fun!! The souvenir shop here is really cool because there were samples of some of the more popular souvenirs. I really liked that! The restaurant seemed really popular, but menu was normal. I think it would be better to eat away from such a big tourist spot.
